The call is from a boutique owner in Doha, Qatar. It's a three-hour time difference and my fashion samples have not arrived for a big clothing exhibition later in the week.
After a bad start to the day, I decide to go for a five-mile walk in the Peatling countryside.
The afternoon is spent pitching my new fashion collection to magazine fashion editors in order to get some much needed exposure, followed by late afternoon meetings with two students who need help writing their CVs.
Tuesday: First thing is spent explaining my urgency to the man in the post office who insists my new Venus Cow, Made in England, fabulous black legging samples will arrive in Doha by latest Wednesday morning.
Lunch with my old boss who needs some free life coaching after falling off the diet wagon, then followed by a 4pm meeting with my bank manager at HSBC Blaby for a business loan.
This is just an except of an article printed by The Leicester Mercury who have helped me with press exposure over the years, something I am enormously grateful for. Thanks to Adrian Troughton, Tom Pegden, Gemma Peplow and Becky Jones
