If you are home alone night after night, guzzling wine and scoffing chocolate, religiously listening to all by myself, (i.e. too many Bridget Jones moments) it might be time to change the record and get a grip! Just because the fairytale promises a Prince with shoes, that just happen to be the right size and of course fit you perfectly, will sweep you off your feet, remember the fairytale always ends at the wedding.
There is nothing wrong with being single, especially when you take a look at the divorce rate and miserable couples not so happy ever after. Think right now about all the couples you know, young, old and now think how many of them are obviously madly in love.
You cannot look for love, only attract it, so unless you want to end up with a sad, lonely, pathetic loser who cannot stop crying, you have to focus on being a fabulous free spirit.
Having a life plan to be married with kids and a white picket fence by the time you are 30 is pointless because life is a journey not a destination. Stop looking and go with the flow. The opposite sex can smell desperation a mile off so stop trying so hard and think about all the reasons someone would love to hang out with you, your wit, your charm, your passions and accomplishments. And if you cannot think of any maybe this is an area that needs some work first always remembering - the definition of insanity is to repeat the same behaviour and expect a different result!
