The Sex Trade

Mastering talk therapy (talking to yourself) allows you to see things as they really are and not how you always believed them to be. When we truly begin to think outside the box, we stop living vicariously through the lives of our favorite TV soaps and end up watching real life stories that can change the way we think about things. When we think for ourselves, we get to know ourselves but when we change who we are to please others, we become strangers to ourselves.

Having an opinion on something is not about pushing it in the face of others because we think we are right but always being open to change our minds if someone else's opinion makes more sense to us.

When we hear about under age sex trafficking, most would agree it is wrong, yet this horrific problem becomes a grey area when it comes to sex tourism, a booming business at the expense of innocent young vulnerable girls and boys.

Sex has become a valuable commodity that "in the box" is traded on on grand scale. Women regularly trade sex for a diamond ring when the Prince comes and the shoe fits, only to discover later the fairytale always ends at the wedding.

Trading sex for a life of compromise, once the honeymoon is over, a high divorce rate speaks for itself, proves marriage to be a cultural tradition endured by millions.

Trading sex for food or being forced against your will due poverty, desperation or because you have been sold to a sex trafficker (sometimes by  Mothers and families), is the high price some pay in order to satisfy the greed of men clearly not thinking about anything but themselves.

Sex trafficking is a form of modern day slavery which leads to sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, prostitution, sex slaves and disease. It affects both men and women. It is wrong on every level and things will only improve when women stand (with their knees) together and say "No Sex Trade"
