Free Gift Wrap

How much do you think you spend a year on gift wrapping, particularly if you are in a hurry and don't plan ahead?

There is nothing better than receiving a beautifully wrapped gift on a special occasion but what do you do if you are on a tight budget and need to impress for less?

Save a tree and get out your old wallpaper rolls, any old ribbons you have and tastefully wrap your gift. If you are used to impressing with expensive matching stationary this will be harder than you imagine the first couple of times.

Luxury gift wrap is exactly that a luxury but if you want to get the same impact without the expense a little creativity is required. Pretty much anything can be used to wrap a gift, even an off cut of fabric tied with a ribbon or a piece of string. It's a good idea to get into the habit of keeping gift bags and wrapping paper to reuse and recycle.

If you have no left over wallpaper, take a trip to the local charity shop and pick some up for 50p per roll or instead  use newspaper or sunday supplement glossy advertisements instead of wrapping paper for a unique gift wrap experience.

Remember originality from the heart will always have a greater impact than something copied or bought in a hurry whatever the cost.

Always be unique and give of yourself with pleasure, one man's trash is another's treasure."
